Worlds of Spellfire
Worlds of Spellfire

At the bottom of the card, a marble box contains 10 elements. The most obvious of these elements is a world logo. There are 5 worlds in Spellfire, and their Logos are: Frozen Fire, Holy Deadlands, Bloodbirth, Wet Deserts, and Flaming Waters. All worlds have a fascinating history behind them.

Matching logos required for champions and artifacts

Only champions, artifacts, realms, and holdings have world-specific logos that dictate how cards work together. For example, a Frozen Fire champion can only use a Frozen Fire artifact, and so on. Artifacts are more powerful than magical items. Unlike magic items, artifacts are neither offensive nor defensive. Some champions can be immune to artifacts. A single artifact can affect an individual champion, all champions in a pool, change the battle conditions, or even all of the above. In the Order of Activation, artifacts precede magical items because of their power.

Realms need holdings with matching logos

The same principle applies to holdings when placed on realms. For example, Wet Deserts realms can only have Wet Deserts holdings attached to them, and so on. In phase 2, one holding can be played, regardless of whether a realm was played, rebuilt, or not played at all. Although it does not need to be attached to the same realm just played or rebuilt.

Universal Holdings and Artifacts combines with any logo

There are some holdings and artifacts that don't have any world-specified, they are marked with the Spellfire logo. For example: holding Blood Moon can be placed on the Realm of any world.

The same rule stands to artifacts like Shield of Light, this card is considered mutual and can be used by a champion from any world.

Consider adding these holdings and artifacts without a specific world to your deck. They will boost your strategic flexibility because of their compatibility with all realms and champions.

+3 power to champions in realms with the same logos

Spellfire game could be made even more interesting by adding some optional rules. In games with optional rules, players can omit them at their discretion, but everyone must agree on which rules will be used before the game. If "World Bonuses" optional rule is applied, champions' levels increase by 3 when they attack or defend a realm of their world.
