Cleric champions can cast Cleric spells
Cleric cards in Spellfire are marked with a purple shield icon at the top left of the card. Any race can have its own Clerics. These champions can cast Cleric spells as a part of their icon abilities. Clerics are immune to the Fear of Undead rule, and they can use Magical items and Artifacts. Allies also help them in battle. Some Clerics may have additional powers written on the card description and may use Psionic powers, Blood abilities, Thief skills, or cast Wizard spells.
Clerics is the best theme if you want to bring Avatars into the game
Clerics can be excellent theme deck builders. Most of the spells available to champions of this type are defensive, but a powerful offensive avatar can make it possible for offense too. It is the best theme if you want to bring Avatars into the game. Clerics can use spells to return champions from the discard pile, and that is why this theme deck shouldn't be overlooked. Yet, consider that clerics alone aren't enough to build a powerful deck, and it may be better as a sub-theme. Here are three of my favorite Cleric champions:
Cleric Dragon can cast Wizard spells
Cleric Dragon is a female of the dragon race, a flyer. She can cast wizard spells. While in the pool, she can negate and catch one wizard spell during her turn, which attaches to the catcher. All spells used by her go to the Abyss.

Dragonide is a male of the creature race. Because a dragon's blood flows in the veins of Dragonide all dragons respect and do not fight him. Dragons are the most favorite champions in Spellfire and many players have them in their decks. Consider Dragonide as a great asset against them.
Any 1 Psionicist "in pool" comes to aid Poisonette as an Ally
Poisonette is a female of the vampire race. She is venomous and diffuses poisonous pheromones. Any 1 Psionicist "in pool" comes to aid her as an ally in the battle. If lost - psionicist comes back to his pool.
